Finished Reading: Start with Why

Let me start by saying that I really like Simon Sinek. I think he is thought provoking and an excellent speaker. I greatly enjoyed the first 50 to 60 pages of this book and the last 30 pages. The rest was very redundant and did nothing to enforce his narrative for me.

With that said, I still suggest this book for an easy read to drive home the valuable point of - WHY. Simon shows us what really makes a great leader compelling and successful. In this book, you will start to understand the difference between your What, How, and your Why. You will clearly see that Why is the driver behind influential and inspirational leaders. The What and How are often easy to copy - but without a clear Why a business will fail to build loyalty and passion from their customers.

This is a great book for anyone who is in the process of starting their own business. It can help you establish a true competitive advantage by focusing on why you do what you do. As a business owner, this booked did help me reflect on my business and confirm that my Why is to help people lead better personal and professional lives through a growth mindset.
